The government schools have all necessary infrastructure and all facilities to transform the future generation the collector said

Collector Neetu Prasad on Monday asserted that government teachers were well qualified to train students as the best future citizens of the country.
Participating in the mass Aksharabhyasam programme for children taken up as part of the Badi Bata programme in Karimnagar, the Collector said that the best teachers were in the government sector. “The government schools have all necessary infrastructure and all facilities to transform the future generation,” she said and added that most of the private educational institutions do not have adequate facilities nor have qualified teachers.
She said the government teachers have also realised their responsibility for the survival of government schools and doing hard work to increase enrolment in the government sector. She also said that they were also providing English medium education in the government sector and said that 31 government school students have secured 10 GPA points in the SSC examination recently. She also announced release of Rs 4 crore from crucial balance funds for providing basic amenities such as toilets, drinking water and other facilities in government schools.
Mayor S Ravinder Singh said that several eminent personalities have studied only in government schools. Assuring to provide free drinking water connections to all government schools in Karimnagar town, he urged the authorities to increase more English medium schools for the benefit of students.


DEO S Srinivasa Chary said that they were taking all measures to provide English medium education from nursery to fifth standard in 991 schools in the district following the demand from parents. He said the government had assured to provide dual desks at all government schools. On this occasion, the dignitaries felicitated students who secured 10 GPA points in SSC examinations.
